Kenneth and Nancy Maynard’s Montana home!

Montana Log Homes has begun construction of the log package for Kenneth and Nancy Maynard new Montana home. The Maynard’s worked with Eric Bachofner, our in house draftsman, to modify the MLH-009 – to better fit their needs and their property. Upon completion the log package will be delivered and re-assembled on their site near Anaconda, Montana. They will be working with Arne Miles of Big Sky Construction and Remodeling to complete their log home. Dan and Kathryn Malott log home addition

Dan and Kathryn Malott are expanding their log home near Manvel, North Dakota. This expansion will include a 3 car garage, beautiful dining room and great room, three bedrooms and a wonderful family room. Dan and Katie worked with Montana Log Homes’ in house draftsman, Eric Bachofner, to create the design for their addition. The log package is now under construction in Montana, once complete it will be dis-assembled, shipped to North Dakota and re-assemble on site. Rick and Lisa Smith cabin

Rick and Lisa Smith have been dreaming about and planning their log cabin in Colorado for years. Rick and Lisa worked with Scott Spaulding and “Design Intelligence” ( to design and engineer their cabin.  Kalispell Montana Log Homes has now begun construction of their log package. They will be using 13″-14″ base diameter, clean peeled Lodgepole Pine in a Scandinavian Full Scribe method of construction. Once completed the cabin will be dis-assembled and shipped to Teller county Colorado for the on-site re-assembly. Chateau-D’ Oex

We have begun construction on a new log home for East Vail, Colorado. Chateau-D’ Oex is a custom design being built with massive Lodgepole Pine logs, salvage logged from the beetle killed stands in Western Montana. The entire log structure will be built in Kalispell Montana Log Homes’ construction yard, then dis-assembled and trucked to Colorado where it will be re-assembled on site. Follow along as each log is hand scribed and notched into the beautiful home it will become! {CLICK IMAGES TO ENLARGE} Comments following the on-site re-assembly: “Ana saw the house today for the first time since we bought the lot last February.  She was absolutely blown away by what has been created.  Of course she has been involved with every floor plan change and seen me fly around here and there, but she was stunned with the richness and beauty of what we have created together on the land.  We have many, many decisions yet to make, and we intend to see our vision through, but the quality of the workmanship and the massive scale and timeless importance of what your team as created for our family is beyond expectations…..It will be a true legacy asset for our children and the quality of the scribemanship more than meets the special location and qualities of the home site….  Again, thanks!”
